Sales representative, Head of Local Marketing and Global Strategic Marketing, Business Unit Head, General Manager and Regional Vice President Europe… My 12 different roles in different companies shaped my understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, strategy and their implementation in the healthcare industry. They helped me to realize how 
Purpose, Impact and Value can drive companies, people and teams. But most importantly, they embedded in me a deep understanding of Leadership. Coaching, mentoring and continuous learning on and off the job have added to this experience. At the same time as being coach or mentor for dozens of aspirational leaders over the last 25 years, I also startedat an early stage to engage in reverse mentoring to challenge my own point of view and to enrich my understanding of new developments and the next generation of leaders. I am passionate about enabling others to fully leverage their potential as authentic leaders.

Congratulations! You got the role that you have worked towards for many years: 

Vice President, Senior Vice President or General Manager – your potential to successfully lead a team or organization has been acknowledged by Top Management. That’s why your new challenge comes with greater responsibility and more complexity.


Good advice would certainly help, but...

 

  • Your peers within the company were also pitching for your position and you mayt not want to share all the questions and unsolved issues with them. 
  • Your peers from other companies might help, but you can’t share insights about the planned restructuring or the strategic plan with potential competitors.
